rotting wood,
and a leaky ceiling,
hardly holding its own weight,
death wasn't so scary when it was far away,
watching the skulls that became good friends,
neighbors on the catacomb lawn,
with the eyeless craters that stare from the other side of forever,
at me,
and i was reminded how much more i have to accomplish
